Electronic commerce draws on technologies such as mobile commerce, electronic funds transfer, supply chain management, Internet marketing, online transaction processing, electronic data interchange (EDI), inventory management systems, and automated data collection systems.\u201d Basically, any purchase that is made using the internet is considered to be online trade.<\/p>\n

Why is it important to inform and educate myself about Ecommerce?<\/h3>\n

It\u2019s enough to take a look at the madness that took place on Black Friday 2017<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“\u201eIt\u2019s for the first time in the history of Black Fridays when we had over 30% sales shares made with a card in total transactions\u201d,<\/i> declared Tudor Manea \u2013 text that is taken from the above link. Also, in 2017, the online sales started to substantially increase. It\u2019s obvious that the online environment starts to win ground, not just in Romania, but worldwide. It\u2019s enough to take a look at Emag or Elefant, if we speak at a national level, or Amazon, at an international scale, in order to see the obvious tendency in the world of commerce.<\/p>\n

Therefore, you\u2019re going to have to inform and educate yourself as much as possible regarding everything Ecommerce related<\/strong>, otherwise you\u2019re going to face certain difficulties to simply stay on the market. It\u2019s just like in the real world, if you don\u2019t inform yourself in a certain field, your business will simply be set to fail.<\/p>\n

Where do I begin?<\/h3>\n

Just like any other new adventure that begins in the world of entrepreneurship, you\u2019re going to need a well-documented plan what you will stick to as much as possible (we\u2019re not hypocrites to tell you to follow it entirely, since there\u2019s no plan that can be executed 100% correctly, with no external inferences). Here are a few essential steps towards planning your online business:<\/p>\n

Decide upon which product or products you want to commercialize.<\/h3>\n

It\u2019s not enough to just decide upon starting an online shoe shop. Here are two essential questions that you can ask yourself in this regard:<\/p>\n

My big surprise came when I found out that the actual profile of the buyer was along these lines: male, 35 years old, 2 kids, lives in the city and has graduate studies. Most likely, living a corporate life, or someone working in IT who is looking to build a house outside the city.<\/p>\n

    Regardless of the situation, I\u2019m sure you caught the idea. It\u2019s fair to say that these two profiles, the imagined one versus the real one require entirely different campaigns.<\/p>\n
