Pay more attention to your work<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>As I mentioned above, doing the job is only part of the job. Analyzing the results and analytics afterwards is just as essential. So pay extra attention to the moments you post, when the best is time to interact with your audience and when you get the best replies, most views, clicks. Don\u2019t think about analytics just in matter of numbers, they basically represent your performance guide, they help you see what worked, what failed and what could use improvements.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>3. Know your target audience<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>I cannot emphasize enough how important it is to know who you are writing for. Your entire style, topics and strategy is based on the needs of your target audience. And given that you have no idea whether it consists mostly of women or men, millennials or elderly, you don\u2019t stand a chance to catch their attention. This means you need to connect quite well with your audience so you can get to know what their struggle is, what they need and so on.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>4. Never take your eyes off your competitors<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>As I already said, keep your friends close and your enemies closer. While your competitors don\u2019t really represent \u201cthe enemy\u201d, their business still seems to flourish far better than yours. Now why is that so? This is the question you need to find an answer for in order to bring improvements to your own business. This means you can peak at what your competitors are doing right and learn from it and then try to implement it to your own business, without copy pasting their strategy.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>5. Offer something tempting to your audience<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>And by this I don\u2019t mean candies. Just keep in mind that people often buy experiences rather than products. If you take a look at any of the big brands out there you will notice that each has a story behind it that sustains it and makes the brand what it is. You are in charge of social media, meaning that you are in charge of the stories that come into existence and shape your brand. Make it worth buying.<\/p>\n<p>All in all, just bear in mind that this is not a strategy that will transform your hard earned followers into obsessed buyers overnight. You have to be patient and hardworking. Posting once something relevant does not mean your job is done.
