And you know what? This is the main question you need to answer when it comes to your business as well. Because what the answer is, that\u2019s what will design your marketing technique on social media!<\/p>\n<p>First things first. If I were to be asked the question, <strong>which one to choose<\/strong>, Facebook or Twitter, my answer would be an obvious <strong>BOTH!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-4988\" src=\"https:\/\/digital-life-solutions.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/Facebook-vs-Twitter.jpg\" alt=\"Facebook vs Twitter\" width=\"506\" height=\"367\" srcset=\"https:\/\/digital-life-solutions.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/Facebook-vs-Twitter.jpg 506w, https:\/\/digital-life-solutions.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/Facebook-vs-Twitter-300x218.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 506px) 100vw, 506px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Why? Because we are talking about social media platforms that <strong>deliver their information in different ways.<\/strong> We can compare statistics yes, but all in all, each and every online apparition that our business has, is a plus on our side!<\/p>\n<p>But these differences are exactly what we are going to focus on, so that you can see that each of the two choices is a good choice, but why one would be the better option for your own business!<br \/>\n<span id=\"toc-1\" class=\"toc_anchor\"><\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Audience<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>What matters most at every social media platform you are going to try, is the <a href=\"https:\/\/digital-life-solutions.com\/en\/communication-with-the-audience-how-do-we-efficiently-do-it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>target audience<\/strong><\/a>, your target audience and how well it\u2019s encapsulated in the audience that uses that specific social media. Facebook is seen by the most users as the perfect place to stay in touch, to connect with friends, family that is away and maybe even business partners. That makes it easy to understand why the majority of Facebook users tend to be more senior in age than Twitter users. Twitter is meant mostly for the young and active, constantly on the move, never having enough time to read a long post.<\/p>\n<p>However, the thing is that Twitter is not active just with users like you and me but also popular with politicians and public figures. This means that Twitter can be the place to find the latest news also.<\/p>\n<p>Hence, you need to pay attention when it comes to prioritizing your energy and which social media platform you invest in more time and money in. this is why it\u2019s essential to know your target audience so that you can make assumptions regarding their favorite social media platform.<br \/>\n<span id=\"toc-2\" class=\"toc_anchor\"><\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong>What about engagement?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>It\u2019s great to pay attention to your public audience but it\u2019s all for nothing if they don\u2019t engage with your page. Studies and statistics show that people tend to engage more on Facebook rather than Twitter. But this only makes sense if you think of how much space and how many possibilities you have on Facebook to market your brand. Also, according to statistics, Facebook is the most addictive app out there, so it\u2019s quite logical to spend a great deal of time swiping. Whereas tweets become old and outdated in a very short amount of time, compared to Facebook posts.<br \/>\n<span id=\"toc-3\" class=\"toc_anchor\"><\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong>How well can you advertise?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>When we talk about advertising, we have to bear in mind that both social media platforms are great at doing their job.
